# Plan your day and review your week

Use Today, your weekly plan, personal reviews, notifications, and profile preferences.

## Open your daily planning space

On **Home**, choose **Today** beside **My work**, or open **Profile & progression** from personal settings. When Rhythm planning is enabled, the **Daily focus · Weekly Rhythm** panel provides **Today**, **Week**, and **Preferences** tabs.

This is your personal planning record. Daily focus chooses your attention; it does not move work between Project Focus groups or change its workflow. The **Week** tab is a personal weekly review. Shared outcome reports are a separate feature under **Reviews** in the sidebar.

## Choose up to three priorities today

1. Open the **Today** tab and check its date.
2. Select up to three suggestions, or use **Search daily focus tasks** to find another eligible item.
3. Select work in your intended order of attention.
4. Choose **Save today’s focus**. The saved selection appears in **Today’s queue**.
5. Open an item from the queue to continue its work and record evidence.

Eligible work must be visible, open, and assigned to or watched by you. Suggestions explain their reasons, such as In progress, In review, Overdue, Due soon, Milestone risk, Older work, or Carry-over. They are prompts for your decision. Blocked carry-over appears separately and is never automatically selected.

For example, select a review you can finish, a due-soon customer fix, and a small documentation task. If an important item is absent, check your assignment or watch status and current access before assuming search is broken.

## Ship or defer intentionally

The queue’s **Ship** action completes the underlying work item. Use it only after the acceptance criteria are satisfied. If completion requires missing evidence or Business Case values, open Definition, finish them, and complete the work there. Saving a focus selection alone never means that the work shipped.

Use **Next workday** to defer an eligible unfinished item to the next day configured in your working calendar. This changes the personal queue, not the task’s due date. Completed focus items stay in the day’s record and cannot be removed from the saved selection.

If a selected item becomes ineligible, remove it from the pending selection before saving. Changed assignments, watch state, access, or completion can affect eligibility. Review a concurrent-change error before retrying a save.

## Review the week and set direction

Open **Week** to inspect shipped work, carried focus, new blockers, and milestone movement when available. These summaries help you see which outcomes progressed and which commitments need attention.

Write an **Intention for the week**, then select **Next three priorities**, using the search field when needed. Choose **Save weekly review**. Future priorities follow the same visible, open, assigned-or-watched rule. This stores your planning choices; it does not publish a report, invite readers, or change project commitments.

## Configure your rhythm and read progression

In the panel’s **Preferences**, choose at least one **Working day** and select **Save Rhythm**. Only configured working days can break the streak; eligible shipping on another day can still add a Rhythm day. Your account timezone sets day boundaries. Change it through personal **Preferences**, outside the Rhythm panel.

**In-app reminders** are off by default and can be enabled here. These Rhythm reminders do not send email. Other notification preferences live in the separate Notifications settings.

Profile & progression shows your level, XP, points, Rhythm, and **Recent wins**, including awards and reversals. It describes your own progression without ranking colleagues. The personal queue and weekly review belong to your account; source work keeps its existing access rules. If the Rhythm panel is missing, ask an administrator whether Rhythm planning is enabled.

Recent wins also shows one-time onboarding points and milestone contribution rewards. Milestone titles appear only when you can access that milestone. If an administrator disables gamification, profile settings, working-day preferences and your planning tools remain available while progression is hidden and new streak credit is paused. Completing a daily focus item still completes its underlying work. Saved reward history is retained; completions made while disabled are not credited later.

## Collect badges

Your profile’s **Badge collection** starts with 13 illustrated achievements. Use **All**, **Earned**, or **Locked** to explore them. Each locked badge shows its requirement and your best qualifying progress; earned badges show when you collected them. There is no ranking against teammates and badges add no extra points or XP.

| Badge | Earn it by |
| --- | --- |
| First chapter | Delivering your first Story. |
| Page turner | Delivering 10 different Stories. |
| Storyteller | Delivering 50 different Stories. |
| Hat trick | Delivering 3 Stories in one day. |
| High five | Delivering 5 Stories in one day. |
| Weekly rhythm | Delivering 10 Stories in one week. |
| Sprint finisher | Delivering 20 Stories in one week. |
| In stride | Delivering eligible work on 3 consecutive days. |
| On a roll | Delivering eligible work on 7 consecutive days. |
| Unstoppable | Delivering eligible work on 30 consecutive days. |
| Mountain mover | Delivering a Story estimated L, XL, or at least 8 story points. |
| Bridge builder | Contributing delivered work to 3 different projects. |
| Constellation | Contributing delivered work to 5 different projects. |

Days follow your account timezone and weeks run Monday through Sunday. Streak badges count consecutive calendar days, including weekends, separately from your working-day planning preferences. Day, week and streak progress shows your best qualifying run, so the progress does not reset each morning or Monday.

Only eligible base completion credit counts. Reopening removes that completion from progress toward new badges; repeating the same work does not add another distinct Story or project. A badge already earned stays in your collection. Story badges use the type and estimate recorded when the work shipped. Team-owned work can earn delivery badges, but project badges require contributions to actual projects. Older rewards without a saved project identity cannot establish historical project breadth.

Existing reward history can be recognised through a workspace operator’s badge backfill. If gamification is disabled, the collection is hidden and new badges pause; your existing badges are kept. Imported historical work and completions without an eligible reward do not create new badge credit.

## Set appearance, timezone, and email preferences

Open your avatar’s **Account settings**, then **Preferences**. **Appearance** offers **System default**, **Light**, and **Dark**. Appearance changes save automatically and follow your account; System default follows your device. In **Local time**, select a **Timezone** and choose **Save**. Check this when due-date reminders or daily boundaries seem unexpected.

Under **Notifications**, choose the email signals you want: **Assignments**, **Mentions**, **Due tomorrow**, **Watched comments**, and **Completions**. Choose **Save preferences** to persist those selections. Invitations always send. These email preferences are separate from the Rhythm panel’s optional in-app reminders.

**Briefing preferences** controls the perspective and questions in your personal Looper work-item overview. See [Looper and connected agents](https://tellenze.com/help/agents) for how to configure it and read its evidence.
