Write and publish outcome reviews
Prepare a private draft, review evidence, publish an edition, and manage its readers.
Use Reviews to share outcomes
Reviews turns selected work into an authored report for a specific audience. You prepare a private draft, inspect exactly what readers will receive, and publish a fixed edition for named members. It is separate from a retrospective workshop and from your personal weekly review.
Reviews must be enabled and you must be an active member. Drafts belong to their author; administrator status does not make another author's draft visible. On the Reviews page, My reviews contains your authoring work and Shared with me contains editions you can read. Search within the selected view to find a report.
Select evidence and define the audience
- Choose New review. In Work & dates, select work items, Focus groups, milestones, a date range, or a combination. Check Time zone, then choose Preview selected work.
- Check the selected items and their stages. Evidence can include descriptions, acceptance criteria, delivery results, linked documents, and relevant comments or activity. It is a captured view of accessible work, not a live report that continuously updates itself. Archived or inaccessible sources are excluded from new scope selection.
- Review the suggested Review title or enter your own. Suggest title from selected work requests another suggestion.
- In Audience, choose Business stakeholders, Leadership, Delivery team, or Custom audience. Describe readers' needs in Audience brief, then choose detail level and report language. The brief remains private.
Write and review the report
In Report, the default sections cover executive summary, delivered outcomes, impact and learnings, unfinished work and risks, and decisions and next steps. Rename, reorder, remove, or disable sections; add custom sections when needed. Include section controls whether a section reaches the publication.
Write section content in Markdown and add private guidance for Looper. Choose Create review for a new draft or Save draft for changes. Saving is required before requesting generated text.
Generate report proposes replacements for enabled sections. Suggest replacement works on one section. Read the suggestion, check its source references, and choose Accept replacement only when you want it placed into the draft. Edit the accepted text as needed and save. Generation failure leaves your draft available for manual writing or another attempt.
Refresh changed evidence
When source evidence changes, review the scope and choose Refresh evidence for review before generating or publishing. Freshness is checked again when accepting generated text and publishing, so an earlier preview does not authorize outdated material.
If a source becomes unavailable, affected unpublished generated sections can be cleared and marked invalid. Regenerate those sections from currently available evidence or remove them. Restoring source access does not bring the old generated text back. Previously published editions remain fixed historical reports even when source work is later archived.
If another save changed the draft, compare the latest content before choosing Load latest draft or Keep my edits with latest version. These controls resolve the version conflict; they do not restore invalidated evidence.
Preview and publish an edition
Open Publish & share, save the draft, and choose Preview publication. Inspect the report, scope, period, captured evidence details, and reference labels. Your draft instructions, audience brief, and raw evidence are not included as private authoring fields, but the approved report can contain information drawn from source work: review its actual contents for the intended audience.
Choose named Readers, then Publish edition. Those members can read that edition even if they cannot open its source work. A source link still requires separate permission. Publishing and reader access are explicit author actions in the interface; asking Looper or an MCP agent to prepare a draft does not publish it.
After publishing, use Copy edition link, Copy formatted report, Download PDF, or Download Markdown. The draft also offers Download draft PDF after publication preview. If copying fails, use the Markdown download.
Manage sharing and later editions
Published content stays fixed. As its author, use Edit draft for the next edition to prepare updated content, then preview and publish a new edition. Use Edition readers and Save reader access to change who can read an existing edition.
Withdraw edition removes reader access and downloads in the workspace while retaining the edition privately for its author. It cannot recall files already downloaded by recipients. If a reader cannot open a link, check their active membership, edition reader access, and whether the edition was withdrawn.
