Personal planning

A little focus.
A clearer day.

Choose the work that deserves your attention today. Keep a small queue, carry things forward with intention and make space to reflect on the week.

Three things worth your attention

Close the feedback loop.

A review you can finish today might deserve attention before you start something new.

Today’s focus

A short queue.
Chosen by you.

Pick up to three open work items assigned to or watched by you. Suggestions explain what brought them into view: work in progress, a nearby due date, older work or a milestone that needs attention.

Search for another eligible item, choose your order and save the day’s focus. Your planning choices stay connected to the shared work.

  1. 1

    Choose your attention.

Use suggestions as a starting point. You decide which commitments belong in today’s queue.

  2. 2

    Continue the work.

Open an item to use its context, discussion and acceptance criteria. A focus selection is a plan; completion still needs evidence.

  3. 3

    Carry forward deliberately.

Defer unfinished work to your next configured workday. The personal queue changes while the task’s due date stays in place.

A few useful details

Keep the choices clear.

Does daily focus change the project plan?

Daily focus chooses your attention. Work stays in its existing project, team, workflow and Project Focus group. Your personal weekly review also leaves shared commitments in place.

What happens when I ship a focus item?

The Ship action completes the underlying work item. Check its acceptance criteria and required evidence first. Saving a daily selection only records what you plan to work on.

Who can use the planning space?

Members use their own daily and weekly planning space when Rhythm planning is enabled. Suggestions and search follow current work access, assignment and watch status.
