Begin where you are

A short path.
The help you need.

A Focus brings a small set of work together around an agreed outcome. Choose timing that fits the work, then review what changed and decide what comes next.

What needs a closer look?

Your three-step path is ready to read. Add an exercise only when it helps resolve a question.

  1. The shared path

    Agree one useful outcome

Bring the people who know the work and someone who can check its value. Say what should change, who it helps and what evidence you already have. Use the workshop kit if the group needs a shared agenda.

Keep: One outcome, the person responsible for it and a proposed check of its value.

  2. The shared path

    Write a small, possible plan

Choose the work that moves the outcome forward. Name what waits, the people involved and any facts or permissions still needed. Write the plan below, or use the portable template with your team.

Keep: Chosen scope, deferred work, responsibilities and questions with a next action.

  3. The shared path

Agree how to review the result

Set a review trigger and name the people who will check the result. Put the agreed plan beside the real work. Review actual evidence, keep unfinished work visible and decide whether to continue, change or close the Focus.

Keep: Evidence to check, a review point and the person who can decide the next step.

Follow the review and sharing guide

Resource links open in a new tab so your plan stays here. No draft is transferred. Each tool has its own data handling, described beside the link.
